Greetings from the great state of Texas where I am proud to serve as President of the Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of Sisterfriends. I am native Texan born and raised in Fort Worth. I attended the University of Texas at Austin for my undergrad and Baylor Medical for my graduate degree. I am married to the most wonderful, loving, man on earth. He is my heart and soul and thank God for him everyday.

Those who know me will tell you that I am a hard working, very creavtive person who plans her work and works her plan. I refuse to settle for something being second best. Some of my hobbies include, baking, sewing, singing, arts & crafts, party planning and writing poetry.I enjoy helping others which means most of the time I am busy with some type of project. I love interacting with others, whether it's working with a person one on one, or talking to a group of people. One of my passions is children. I believe they will pave the roads to our future so we should all spend a little helping to mold our youth.

Dallas/Forth Worth Metro Chapter

I feel that Sisterfriends was a way for me to interact more with my community as well as with other women of color. I am proud to be a part of what I feel is the fastest growing organization for women of color. Sisterfriends to me is not only about sisterhood it's about a shared common goal to help our community meet and exceed all expectations. Thank you SF Michele Johnson and SF Kim Grant-Skinner for your never ending support and your vision to make Sisterfriends an organization to be reckoned with!!
